In an interesting turn of events, Lexmark is looking to be acquired. Perhaps the Dell/EMC acquisition was a sign of the times, or as its rumored HP is looking to expand even more. Only time will tell. Lexmark recently acquired Kofax for 1 billion and many other ECM software companies like Perceptive ImageNow. Whoever purchases Lexmark is going to have a great portfolio for ECM. I wouldn't be surprised if IBM goes after it or Fujitsu. Both had interest in Kofax at one time.
